Three finalists for Årets Leksak 2026 in Sweden
Three new toys from Toyrock’s portfolio have been selected as finalists for Årets Leksak 2026 – Sweden’s Toy of the Year awards. Casdon Ice Cream Parlour is competing in the Preschool category (Förskolebarn), ASMR Studio Video Maker Kit in the Innovation category (Innovation) and Butt Face Chester Cheeks in the School-age category (Skolbarn).
The three finalists represent very different sides of today’s toy landscape – from classic role play and sensory play inspired by the digital world to a perennial favourite among children: humour.
The winners of Årets Leksak 2026 will be announced in October during week 42 at the Underbara Barn fair in Stockholm.
Preschool (Förskolebarn): Casdon Ice Cream Parlour
Casdon Ice Cream Parlour brings classic role play to children’s very own ice cream café. With more than 35 pieces, the playset lets children create their own ice cream treats, serve customers and step into the role of an ice cream parlour owner.
The set includes ice cream scoops, sauces, cones, sprinkles, a cash drawer and play money.

Innovation (Innovation): ASMR Studio Video Maker Kit
The ASMR phenomenon, familiar from social media, is now making its way into children’s toys. ASMR Studio Video Maker Kit combines sensory play, creativity and video creation.
The set lets children experiment with different sounds, materials and textures. It includes a phone stand that amplifies sounds, modelling tools, slime, foam and a variety of materials and decorations.
